Pepsi Arena Stadium
Warsaw, Poland
Legia Warsaw and the Poland national football team played many matches in this bowl. Such teams as Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Panathinaikos Athens entered the lists. Hundreds of thousands of people associate that place with sport emotions and the spirit of sport competition. Today the stadium has a capacity of more than 31 thousands of spectators, despite the fact that after it was built in 1930 only six thousand fans were able to take their seats in the stand. The huge expansion of the arena was made in the years 2008-2010. A roof was also built then and today it is a distinctive feature of the stadium. The filigree membrane roof resembling tents put up next to each other has became an inherent part of the landscape surrounding the stadium.
